Platinum Podcast Studio, the production studio operated by Audio+ under Media Prima Audio, has opened bookings for its Long Term Packages, a set of committed studio and distribution plans built for brands and creators producing a podcast series rather than a one off episode.

Most podcasts in Malaysia stop after a handful of episodes. The reason is rarely the idea. It is the production load, the cost of booking session by session, and the effort of getting each episode heard once it is published. The Long Term Packages are designed to remove all three by locking in studio time, production support and audience reach for the length of a season.

Three tiers are available:

• Growth — 16 sessions over 9 months, RM8,000
• Scale — 32 sessions over 12 months, RM15,500
• Authority — 40 sessions over 12 months, RM19,000

Every package includes recording in the studio’s broadcast grade room in Bangsar, basic editing on each episode, a teaser promo for social use, and distribution across the Audio+ app and the studio’s social channels. Each episode release week also carries 28 promotional spots across Media Prima Audio’s radio network, which reaches listeners on Hot FM, Fly FM, Eight WuXian, Kool FM, Molek FM and Buletin FM. Scale and Authority clients can extend their booking period by a further six months once half their sessions are used.

The packages sit alongside Podcast On Location, the studio’s mobile service that brings the same production crew and equipment to a client’s own office, event or venue.

“Brands do not have a content problem. They have a consistency problem,” said Alex Poon, General Manager of AI and Smart Services at Media Prima Audio. “A podcast only builds an audience when it turns up on schedule. These packages give a client the studio, the production and the airtime for a whole season up front, so the only thing left to worry about is the conversation itself.”
