Program Amal COVAiD #BaikSemula which was initiated by Hot FM and together with Buletin FM, Fly FM and 8FM as well as Media Prima Berhad’s other platforms has garnered success.

The virtual programme aimed to raise funds for its Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund with over 43 national artists such as Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Misha Omar, Dayang Nurfaizah, Hael Husaini, Hujan and many more had racked a total of more than 70,000 total views and more than 30,000 live conversation throughout the 24 hours programme via live chats.

Media Prima Audio’s CEO, Nazri Noran commented that, “The programme is not an easy task to pull off, with many challenges and restrictions we had to face along the way. However, we still executed a successful programme where the team, fans and talents came together, getting involved in conversations and at the same time raising funds for a good cause. The programme was made sweeter when the artists and announcers interacted with the fans in the live chat section, giving fans the concert experience that they needed during this pandemic. Especially as the programme serves its cause as a platform for the artists to perform as well as connecting the audience and the artists. It was definitely one of the first of many to come for all stations under Media Prima Audio!”.

Additionally, the programme can be watched on Hot FM’s YouTube channel, Hot TV and donations are still open and the public are encouraged to donate to the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund (MAYBANK: 5141-0532-3170). The public may also email their transaction slip and state COVAiD in their email to [email protected] for them to obtain the official receipts. Each donation received will be used to buy medical equipment and food, as well as daily needs for those who are affected during the pandemic.
