ASEAN Book Of Records
Hot FM’s Bekpes Hot has officially been recognised by ASEAN Records for achieving the “First and Deepest Outdoor Underwater Live Radio Broadcast in Open Sea by Radio Personalities”, broadcasting 10 metres below sea level for 90 minutes at Pulau Bidong. The historic underwater mission, supported by UMT, UTK PDRM and several partners, marks another milestone after their previous Malaysian record at Mount Kinabalu—proving Hot FM’s spirit of innovation, bravery and boundary-breaking broadcasting in Southeast Asia.

The Appies Award 2025
Hot FM has been awarded the Recognition Merit for Best in Innovation at APPIES Malaysia 2025 for its groundbreaking “Bekpes Hot Tawan Puncak Kinabalu” campaign. Held in November 2024, the campaign made history by successfully delivering a continuous 24-hour live broadcast from the peak of Mount Kinabalu, earning a Malaysia Book of Records recognition as the first of its kind in the country. Featuring hosts Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ), Johan, Fara and AG, together with an experienced expedition team, the campaign garnered over 60 million total views, including 38 million views for the 24-hour broadcast, and five million interactions across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Beyond its massive digital impact, it also boosted tourism bookings by up to 10 months ahead, reaffirming Hot FM’s ability to create powerful, high-impact experiences.

Hot FM achieved a record recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records for the “Longest Distance Live Radio Broadcast Aboard a Train.” In March, KJ, Johan, Fara Fauzana, and AG broadcasted live over 534 kilometers during “Mission Impossible Bekpes Hot,” underscoring Hot FM’s pioneering approach in radio broadcasting.
