8:31am. The clock hits, and across every Media Prima Audio station — Hot FM, Fly FM, Molek FM, Kool FM, Eight WuXian — the same song plays at the exact same second. Non-negotiable. It’s a small ritual with a big meaning: five stations, one heartbeat, one nation waking up to the sound of celebration.
That single synchronised moment set the tone for a month unlike any other.
When Ideas Leave the Studio
Bulan Kebangsaan is always a big month on the calendar, but this year MPA didn’t just talk about the celebration from behind a microphone — the team went out and became part of it.
At KL Sentral, bread was handed out to a thousand outstretched hands, a simple gesture that turned a train station into a moment of connection. On the Putrajaya stage, a familiar MPA voice carried the celebration to an audience of 10 million viewers. Over at Dataran Putrajaya, the crowds cooled down with Sunquick as influencers worked the room, turning a national event into content that travelled far beyond the square itself.
And then came Hari Kebangsaan itself — flags, drums, marching feet, and MPA right in the thick of it, on the street with the rest of the country instead of watching from the sidelines.
One Month, Countless Moments
Strip away the schedule and what’s left is a simple truth: this is what happens when ideas are given the room to come to life, and audiences are given a reason to come together. Across bread lines and stage lights, cooling drinks and marching bands, MPA didn’t just cover the moments that mattered this Merdeka season — it helped create them.
One month. Countless moments. One MPA.
What This Means for the Brands We Work With
For MPA’s Chief Executive Officer, Nazri Noran, this month is proof of something bigger than any single campaign:
Every week gives brands another opportunity to create something meaningful across MPA’s stations — and Bulan Kebangsaan was just one month of it. Multiply that by every campaign, every week, across every station, and you start to see what’s possible when ideas, talent and audience come together.
So instead of pitching with another deck, MPA is extending a different kind of invitation to brand partners: sit down, bring the hard question — the growth number that keeps you up at night, the market you haven’t cracked, the moment you haven’t found yet — and let MPA’s team bring the ideas, the talent, and the audience to meet it.
