Kuala Lumpur, 4 September 2026 — Style Sessions with Sasha has only been on air since March this year, but it just picked up a major win: Best Society & Culture Podcast at the Asia Podcast Awards 2026.
Produced by Media Prima Audio and streamed on AUDIO+, the podcast takes listeners inside the fashion world through a more personal lens. Instead of talking trends and runway looks, host Sasha Bashir sits down with the people behind the industry to talk about their journeys, struggles, and the stories that rarely make it to the surface.
Since launching in March 2026, the show has released 10 episodes featuring some of Malaysia’s best-known names in fashion, including designers, stylists, and models such as Rizman Ruzaini, Fiziwoo, Amber Chia, Daiyan Trisha, and Khoon Hooi. For Sasha Bashir, a familiar face from her days hosting on TV3, the win feels especially meaningful given how early the podcast still is in its journey.
“Honestly, I didn’t expect to win. The competition was really strong, we were up against great podcasts from across Asia. When Style Sessions with Sasha was announced as the winner, it genuinely didn’t feel real,” said Sasha.
“This isn’t a win for me alone. It belongs to the whole team working behind the scenes, to every guest who trusted us with their story, and to everyone who’s been listening and supporting the podcast since episode one. For a show that only started a few months ago, this is a big win for all of us.”
